The specific reason is because they are less attractive, too many employees and lack of financial support to the low occupancy rate. Almost 2/5 of the interview nursing home operators say that the industry economy is relatively poor or in a very poor condition.
The research shows that, it still can not help this industry economic conditions change to a good trend. At the same time, the operating costs will increase significantly, but their income still does not have rising trend. The researchers predicted that for the next 10 years, there will be 1.5% nursing home disappeared every year. Some of them could find new investors during the process of the bankruptcy procedure. But for some of them which locate in the sparsely populated area, it will probably be closed earlier.
The research also shows that before 2020, there will have 179000 people need hospitalization more than now, therefore, 2000 new nursing home will be needed at that time. And now the infrastructure must be replaced or reform. Experts predict that a total of 4300 nursing home has been demanded in urgent.
